Hi! My name is Mac or Chloey depending on the day. :) I'm just now setting up this account so my introduction will be quick and messy for now, sorry.
I am an art student going to school full time at OCU pursuing my Bachelors of fine arts in studio art. :) I am a United States Navy combat veteran of 8 years. I have traveled the world a couple times over and love the worldly perspective it has given me. I really loved the navy, but I stsrted to see I was a part of something that I didn't want to be a part of anymore. I have always been a loving person. I truly love my fellow humans no matter who they are, but it's a sad day and age that you have to be able to defend your life to do so.
I only recently came out about this to my friends and family. September of this year in fact. I am boundlessly lucky to have an impeccable support system in my life in my friends and family. They have welcomed chloey with open arms and I couldn't be more thankful. I am proud of who I am for the first time in 31 years of hiding something I thought was shameful. I grew up in the 80's and 90's...back then all I had to go off of was jerry springer and Maury povich. Where (if they weren't paid actors) cross dressers with obvious substance abuse or mental health issues would parade around on stage and act foolish. I always knew I was different, but I knew I wasnt....that. So I hid my shame for years until I couldn't take the self loathing anymore. I told my family and friends and realized that I didn't have to go through all of that, but I'm glad I did. I know how hard it is to identify yourself as a human being outside of gender norms.

...the T in LGBT is not "Transition" for me...it's "Transcend".
